TATT – Reasons Why You Are Tired All The Time

Find out why you’re tired as soon as you wake up from a good sleep!

Has this ever happened to you? It’s barely 10pm and you’re already tired. You decide it’s time for bed. You wake up at 8am the next day to get ready for work. Yet you struggle so much to get out of bed and you start yawning at 12pm. You wonder why. You’ve slept for 10 hours, there’s no reason that you would be tired. So what happened? Why are you TATT – tired all the time?

1. Not enough sleep

The main misconception about sleep is that people think they can just sleep for 12 hours to compensate for the lack of sleep for the past week. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way. Your body clock is routine-based. Having a consistent sleep schedule is good for your body. Once your body clock is messed up, there’s no compensating in just one day. You can only gradually adjust your body clock back to normal. Stop partying day and night thinking that you just need to sleep it off on Sunday. It will take more Sundays than you’d think to recover.

2. Unstable sleep routine

As we’ve mentioned, your body is a clock itself. It knows what time it is and in order for your body to function well, it has to follow a routine. Sleeping at 10pm one day and 3am the next will only mess up your internal body clock. It doesn’t matter if you sleep for 8 hours every time, your body clock won’t be able to adjust to your unstable sleep schedule and won’t be able to repair itself during your sleep. That’s one big reason why you’re tired all the time.

3. Humidity

Yes, humidity is one reason that’s causing your tiredness, to your surprise. States like Florida and California are humid most of the time. Humidity can make people dreary and tired. You just can’t seem to get enough sleep because you’re tired very soon after waking up. That might be the humidity messing with you. Try turning on the dehumidifier when you sleep and your sleep quality will improve.

4. Low sleep quality

Quality is always above quantity, you can sleep for 9 hours and still be tired while some can sleep for 7 and feel fresh for the whole day. Your senses are still very much active to keep you safe during your sleep. Apartments along highways, party districts or theme parks could really lower your sleep quality as your ears are still constantly receiving the noise from the surroundings. Your whole body stays alert throughout your sleep, so you won’t ever get enough sleep even if you try hard. But that’s one sad reality for most city people – there’s no quiet place.

5. Stress or other mental illness

Something not to be looked over. Stress and mental illness can cause tiredness. You feel troubled by something and is anxious all the time. You probably even know the real cause yourself and you just don’t know how to deal with it. A lot of the times, it’s because of our mental health that we are tired. We are exhausted at the thought of something and that makes our body weak and tired. There’s no better way to deal with it than to seek professional help. If you’re unsure about your symptoms, contact your family doctor for more detailed examination.

The best is to avoid napping and go to bed earlier so you could actually fall asleep and rest adequately.

2. Set a good sleep schedule

It takes 21 days to form a habit. Your body is smarter than you think. If you sleep around the same time everyday and wake up at around the same time, your body will sleep and wake up automatically! It helps with your inner repairing and maintaining a good routine is always healthy.
